Great PlayStation tips – GTA V !

today something different.

a guest post.

my friend and my flatmate prepared something special for you. especially for the guys (no offence to female audience). three amazing tips that you might find very useful as a PlayStation player. the game he concentrated on is GTA – Grand Theft Auto V.

there it is.

You have probably heard about one of the most successful video games ever – Grand Theft Auto V. One gets to play as one of the three main characters – Franklin, Michael and Trevor; all criminals living in the Los Santos area. As most of you probably know, apart from completing the missions, players are able to basically mess around all around the map (Which is, by the way, huge). This can be fun for some time, but it gets dull after some time. Today I will give you some tips how to have fun. Enjoy!

TIP #1: Steal a fighter plane

One of the most exciting parts of the game is flying, but most will end up flying a crop duster or a Cessna look-alike, which is fair enough, especially when you can’t afford the expensive private jets. Instead of playing around with a slow and boring plane or buying a high-end one for millions of dollars (or whatever that currency is), steal one from the military. Not only will it be faster and more agile, but also you will actually be able to bring death from above. To obtain the P-996 Lazer, you will have to enter the military base through the west entrance, take a right turn, then a left turn. The plane is located in the hangar straight ahead. Have fun blowing up the city.

TIP #2: Get the fastest car in the game

Everybody knows the Bugatti Veyron – the 1000BHP beast beloved by Arab Sheikhs. You can get the GTA V equivalent – the Adder – for free! Just go to the shopping avenue near Michael’s home. The Adder will be parked near the Ponsonsby’s store. Have fun being as fast as lightning.

TIP#3: Complete a triathlon

The game offers a lot of side missions and hobbies to pursue. One of the most interesting ones is the triathlon. If you think you could complete one of these badboys in real life, you’re probably wrong – you would be out running/swimming/cycling instead of wasting your time on this game. Anyway, Michael proves it is possible for a regular guy to do it, even without too much training. To start in a triathlon complete the mission “daddy’s little girl” and proceed to a point on the map marked as “triathlon”(duh). Have fun getting a heart attack.

it’s all about ‘BUU-ween’

Halloween is pretty much a big deal for all Londoners when it comes to parties, costumes and decorations. that is why it is important to be prepared for it.

1. first of all buy a pumpkin. you can get really cheap ones at ‘Tesco’. after all, you can use it after the 31st and make with it delicious pumpkin soup which will warm you up on cold autumn evening (the recipe for it will be presented later this month).

2. second, find a costume. be creative. being a vampire or a witch is a bit passe, especially in a city in which everyday you can see someone dressed ‘uncommonly’.

3. buy a loooot of sweets. and i don’t only mean here, buying them for kids that might knock on your door, but also for you! believe me, they taste so much better on that day and bring childhood memories

4. find a party to which you can go. don’t stay in. it is one of these days in London when you should go out. explore the city, see all the costumes in which people put so much effort

5. watch a scary film. especially when as this year Halloween is on thursday so you have whole three days to watch one

and here are few ideas me and my flat mates had for Halloween:

1. hippie:

– jeans bell bottoms ‘Primark’ 10£

– peace necklace ‘Primark’ 1£

– pink sunglasses ‘Brick Lane’ 4£

– dress with patterns (worn as a blouse)

– sneakers

– headband

phaoto

2. Terry Richardson:

– dark jeans

– checkered shirt

– sunglasses ‘Old Spitalfields Market’ 5£

– disposable camera

3. zombie pilot

– white shirt ‘Primark’ 3£

– dark jeans

– sunglasses

– brown leather jacket

– red paint 1£

– pilot cap 5£

how one chocolate egg can bring ‘a banana’ on your face

i believe i can call myself a lucky one because childhood memories always bring a smile on my face. few days ago my flatmate brought for me and my other flatmate two kinder surprises – one per each. i got the pink foiled wrapped one as i am a girl while my flatmate got the blue one (i didn’t even know they made such a division!)

the taste of the chocolate egg and the same excitement i have experienced whilst opening the plastic capsule with the toy inside reminded me of my childhood. my mum used to buy them very often, while my dad took me even couple of times to see an exhibition (available once a year) back at home, where you could see all the toys that have been produced by ‘Ferrero’. it was truly magical.

but the most interesting memory it brought was the game i used to play with my cousin. the game was called ‘ships’. basically as most of the girls we quickly got bored with ‘Barbie’ dolls, so we came up with a new idea. each of us was looking for a big object – like ‘Barbie’ doll truck, a coffer or a simply a box (mostly due the fact we didn’t have toy ships to play with). then we took all kinder surprise toys – and believe me we had tons of them, like: hippos (do you remember those?!), lions or penguins. next we placed them around ‘the deck’ in different positions. we even played with them for a bit, ‘make them talk with each other’ etc. penguin waiters were serving champagne, female hippos were sun tanning or exercising, and hippo captain was giving orders to the rest of the crew. after some time, if we got bored with that, we began bringing our ships towards each other. at some point ships collided and due to this fact most of the toys fell of the deck.

now the whole point of the game. person with the bigger amount of toys that ‘survived’ on the ship won!

and here it is. my childhood memory.
